PB&J Egg Whites

Posted: October 27, 2011 in Uncategorized

It’s a crazy day… I’m clearly posting this mega early and I’m clearly heading out mega early.

I’m off to Sussex for a coordinator meeting with the heads of all our cities. Fun fun fun.

Since I’m short on time I figured I’d answer an easy question from the other day:

“What are peanut butter and jam egg white?”

Besides delicious!?

This is something I ate in prep before bed. So simple, so easy, yet so tasty (for me!)

A “serving” for me"":

4 egg whites

16G pb

about tbsp SF jam

Cook whites, either scrambled or like a pancake if lazy. Top with pb. Top with jam. Mix up. Eat, enjoy.

  2. Amy says:

yum I can’t wait to try this. How much is 16 grams pnut butter? Maybe a teaspoon?

  3. Interesting combo – whatever works for you right?

  4. runningperspective says:

um YUM! making this for sureeee!<3

  5. Lisa says:

I agree, I’m gonna have to try this. =)

  6. I’m not sure if I would be able to eat this, although it looks rather interesting! 🙂 I eat weird combos too and my husband always gives me a hard time when he is around the kitchen!

  7. Wow that is so easy even I can do it!

  8. Looks delicious!
Simple meal for me lately; 1/2 cup of cheerios and a big piece of fruit.

  9. Heather says:

Thank you!!! Egg whites are my best friend these days… for some reason I’m just not feeling meat. I like to mix egg whites with pumpkin, splenda and cinnamon for a pumpkin pie like protein meal.
